1,440 miles!
1,440 miles... That's roughly how far the tour van has travelled since we began our "Crazy Bird Tour" of our hit show, A Bird In Your Ear — and it really has been a hit! Just look at all the great feedback we've received over the last few days, including the video below from our audience in the Norton Sub Hamdon Village Hall:
We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful location for the final stop. Our greatest of thanks to Stuart and Trevor, who helped us arrange our visit to this beautiful spot in Somerset. We also need to thank Paul, pictured left, who ran our box office throughout the tour — and had to put up with all the silly games Chip and David wanted to play on the long van journeys!
Now you may be wondering... what next for A Bird In Your Ear? Well, we already have further performances lined up, starting with a visit to the Luton Library Theatre on 22nd September. But while we've been travelling around the country on our "Crazy Bird Tour", we've had the fortune to meet plenty of events organisers who are now keen to bring some Little Birds storytelling to their communities. So it won't be long now before we're bringing a new set of tomorrow's fairy tales to a school or village hall near you! To find out exactly when (or to chivvy us along...), click here to contact us!
Or, if you want to see your story in the next show, make sure you use your sticker (if you have one) at www.FlapYourFeathers.com! If you don't, ask your teachers to check out our Little Birds workshops so we can visit your school and collect some stories from you ourselves!
We look forward to sharing stories with you soon!
