New! Storytelling Club

Last term, Snail Tales developed a series of storytelling workshops especially designed for an afterschool club setting, in collaboration with the Cambridge Storytellers and Great Wilbraham Primary School. The club was a huge success with teachers, children and parents alike, with one parent stating:

"I used to ask my son, 'How was your day?' and he would just say, 'Alright.' Now he launches into conversation! His concentration in class has improved enormously too - and not just in literacy."

Now, Snail Tales are opening up these workshops to all schools, so children anywhere can reap the benefits of the skills of storytelling!

These benefits include:

As well as returning to Great Wilbraham by popular demand, the club has already been booked by Shaftesbury Park Primary School in Battersea, London. Every class of every year group in Shaftesbury will experience the fun of a storytelling club workshop over 2 days in October's book week, while Great Wilbraham will continue to run the workshops afterschool.

So act now to secure your school's storytelling club! either during the school day or afterschool. The standard price is only £600 for 10 sessions, and schools may find parents are willing to contribute to the cost.

But there are also savings to be made by finding a 'travel partner'. And then there's our most generous special offer yet - combine a storytelling club with our bestselling Little Birds workshops for a week-long storytelling festival for your school!
