There has been a spate of fascination with the world of the Emperor Penguin recently, especially in the world of children's cinema. Tomlinson's tale preceded all of that, being first published in 1972. I am very glad for this reprint, as otherwise I may never have enjoyed this heartwarming rendering of penguin life...
