Barnabas RE Days
Barnabas in Schools has been bringing the Bible to life for primary-age children nationwide since the 20th century, with a range of creative practioners bringing their own artistic talents to the presentation of Christian tales and themes.
Now, Snail Tales are proud to be on the Barnabas team, providing our own unique take on the available topics for primary schools. Schools in and surrounding East Anglia are likely to be put in touch with Snail Tales automatically should they get in touch with Barnabas. But any school in the country can request to have their Bible-based programme told with our special blend of traditional storytelling, puppetry, song and magic.
Barnabas topics are designed to introduce children to the fundamentals of Christian thinking, such as care for one's neighbour, how God made the world, and why Christians think people were put on the Earth.
Barnabas itself is the children's imprint of BRF, which publishes resources designed to help teachers with many RE and PSHCE themes. If you wish, Snail Tales would be delighted to bring a selection of these books for your teachers to sample during lunch break.
