Snail Tales news

Return to Greenbelt

Last year, Snail Tales' presence at the Greenbelt Festival was a complete sell-out, with disappointed parents and toddlers being turned away at the opening to our tent as it was getting just too crowded.

Good news for 2009 Greenbelters, then! As this time around, the Greenbelt organisers have given us more space and more slots throughout the Saturday 29th August!

Snail Tales will be just one part of the Children's Festival, which also features our good friend and ventriloquism coach, Tom Elliott. Be sure to pop across to him, too, for a stand-up comedy act including magic and mishap.

Greenbelt transforms Cheltenham Racecourse every August bank holiday into a feast for the senses and the mind. It began as a Christian festival and now incorporates almost every known angle of art, culture and spirituality. Campers can enjoy world-renowned artists playing on the main stage, a mini film festival, an art market, talks from authors, philosophers and the like, and workshops on pretty much every artistic skill you could possibly want to practice. And if camping isn't your thing, there are plenty of hotel rooms nearby.

To book your place, visit www.greenbelt.org.uk and make sure your tent is in good working order!
