SloGo has been with Snail Tales from the very beginning, arriving with the ethos "you carry your stories with you for life".

SloGo himself represents the storytelling tradition, being a creature coming alive 'off-the-page'.

SloGo's most important role in Snail Tales is reminding the team that snails leave a trail behind them. Consequently, Amy and Chip always strive to leave schools with materials to encourage the magic of stories to continue long after the tellers are driving off towards the horizon.

SloGo also has the key job of greeting visitors to the website and anyone who opens a letter from the Snail Tales team. He will often be found at the top of handouts, offering words of storytelling wisdom to children and adults alike.
