Chip Colquhoun (Chief Story Snail)

Chip Colquhoun

Chip Colquhoun began dabbling in dramatic workshops for primary age children during his A-levels, lending a hand to the staff of Canterbury Cathedral. Whilst reading Law at the University of Cambridge, he enjoyed writing and directing drama, including the most successful musical "one-night stand" in history for the prestigious Cambridge Amateur Dramatic Club. He also joined the Cambridge University Light Entertainment Society, linking him with some of the greatest names in BBC Radio 4 comedy, for whom he wrote and starred in a pantomime which toured special needs schools around Cambridgeshire. His early work experience included production research for documentary producers CTVC.

Soon after graduating, Chip picked up extra qualifications in Business Development and the electric guitar. In addition to storytelling with Snail Tales, he currently reviews children's literature for Write Away.
