Amy Robinson (Assistant Chief Story Snail)
Amy Robinson holds a First Class degree in English from Christ's College, University of Cambridge. She began working up to such high honours from a very early age, producing her first play at primary school. After A-levels she played Mole in a production of John Rutter's Wind in the Willows, touring primary schools in Kent. Once at university, she supplemented her studies by acting and singing with a number of performing arts groups, as well as writing original pieces. Among her various musical dramas was Dance To My Tune, an explanation of the Incarnation using characters from nursery rhymes and the biggest hit for the Cambridge Christian Musicals Society, which went on to be picked up and performed by Jacob's Well Productions in Cheltenham.
Amy subsequently undertook a PGCE at Warwick University and taught as class teacher for years 3 and 4 in two schools. She is a fully qualified teacher. She occasionally writes for Scripture Union's Light for the Lectionary, providing ideas for all-age worship.
At the end of 2009, Amy goes on maternity leave to bring a new Robinson into the world.
